Dr. Earl Douglas Offers Decades of Experience to Help Dentists Navigate Successful Transitions

Earl M. Douglas, DDS, MBA, BVAL, began his career in dental practice transitions in 1982 after successfully selling his own practice. His combined background in dentistry and business has made him a trusted expert in guiding doctors through every step of the transition process. With decades of firsthand experience, Dr. Douglas offers clients a unique understanding of the dental industry, local markets, and the complexities of buying and selling processes.

After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Dr. Douglas served in the U.S. Army Dental Corps in Georgia and Germany before operating his own private practice in Atlanta. He went on to earn an MBA from Brenau College and founded Professional Practice Consultants, Ltd., now ADS South, LLC, in 1984. He also is a Business Valuator Accredited in Litigation and has testified in court a number of times on practice value. Dr. Douglas also established ADS Transitions in 1996, where he served as founding president, continuing his lifelong commitment to helping dentists achieve smooth, successful practice transitions.
